Project overview

Introduction and Overview

Our client is seeking a team of 2-5 consultants to support operations tasks, customization, further development, and new development, including architectural support for the Microsoft platform. The position includes services such as testing, strategy, project management, consulting, and quality assurance.

NOTE: As a consultant, you do not need to have experience with all of the requirements below, as the entire team must be able to cover the requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operation and maintenance of Microsoft Enterprise platforms
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management
• Patch Management and security updates
• Change Management and release activities
• Documentation and knowledge sharing
• Automation of operations tasks
• Optimization of performance, stability, and security
• Participation in planned activities outside normal working hours as needed
• Technical consulting regarding Microsoft infrastructure and security

Requirements

Start Date: December 1

• Operation, administration, and optimization of Microsoft Enterprise environments
• Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), hybrid identity solutions, and Intune
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis
• Patch management, security updates, and change management
• Automation of operations tasks with PowerShell and other relevant tools
• Migration and decommissioning of legacy platforms and older operating systems
• Handling of older authentication protocols such as NTLM, RC4, and similar technologies
• Implementation and administration of Microsoft LAPS in Active Directory, Entra ID, and Intune
• Implementation and operation of BitLocker and central management of encryption keys
• Implementation of Microsoft Security Baselines on clients, servers, and virtual workstations
• Hardening of servers, clients, and Microsoft platforms
• Experience with Attack Surface Reduction (ASR), Application Control, and other Microsoft security features
• Operation, administration, and monitoring of PKI and certificate solutions
• Hardening of PKI environments and certificate-based security solutions
• Design and implementation of Certificate Lifecycle Management and certificate management processes
• Integration of log sources and monitoring in Microsoft Sentinel or similar SIEM platforms
• Documentation, knowledge sharing, and peer training
• Experience with large, complex Microsoft Enterprise environments with high demands on security, compliance, and stable operation
