We are looking for a Senior Data Translator / Data Product Owner to be involved in the development and maintenance of Data products and objects within a Data Platform environment.

Within a business-oriented Data ecosystem, you will be at the heart of exchanges between operational teams, IT teams, and Data teams. Your role will be to translate business needs into relevant, reliable, and actionable data solutions, while ensuring functional consistency, data quality, and data valorization.

The mission is part of the development and maintenance of Data objects in the Merchandise domain.

With a Master's degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school or university with a focus on IT, or equivalent experience, you have over 7 years of experience in Data Translation / Data Product Ownership.

You have in particular:

Experience in retail or mass distribution is a real asset.

• Required experience: More than 7 years in Data Translation / Product Ownership
• Functional scoping and Data design
• Gather, analyze, and translate business needs into adapted data solutions.
• Design solutions and write technical-functional specifications.
• Model business objects within the Big Data foundation (MDD).
• Define data feeds, interface contracts, and data exposure methods.
• Design Data exposures, particularly via APIs and database models, in line with Data governance.
• Ensure functional and cross-functional consistency of the data domain.
• Product and delivery management
• Define and manage the Data product roadmap.
• Build, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog and User Stories.
• Coordinate work with Scrum teams and monitor the implementation of developments.
• Prepare functional acceptance testing, monitor its execution, and assist in anomaly resolution.
• Lead Agile rituals, particularly Sprint Planning, and ensure team follow-up.
• Manage a portfolio of Data projects and track their lifecycle.
• Report progress, risks, and arbitration points to program and Data Product managers.
• Data quality, governance, and valorization
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency.
• Implement and monitor Data quality dashboards.
• Identify and track technical debt and areas for improvement.
• Qualify, document, and contextualize data to make it understandable and usable.
• Contribute to data governance and standardization initiatives.
• Lead the Data community and strengthen collaboration between business and IT.
• Manage evolutions and anomalies reported by users.
• Data manipulation and technical understanding
• Query and exploit databases using advanced SQL.
• Manipulate different file formats and consume APIs and web services.
• Use data visualization tools for data monitoring and analysis.
• Maintain a solid technical understanding of the Data ecosystem to facilitate exchanges with IT teams.
• Solid experience in scoping and designing Data products.
• Excellent ability to connect business challenges with technical constraints.
• Good command of product management, backlog management, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Operational mastery of advanced SQL and a good understanding of Data architectures, APIs, and web services.
• Experience in data modeling, Data Quality, and Data Governance.
