Project overview

As a financial advisor and business controller, you will be the point of contact for the board and management and monitor the P&C documents.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Preparing the annual accounts of the BEL
• Checking if budgets and costs are booked correctly and preparing correction bookings in Key2Financiën and LIAS
• Preparing the final amendment of the BEL regarding legality
• Providing the secretariat for the portfolio holder meetings on finance and operations
• Reviewing financial proposals for the board and management team via Corsa
• Updating and calculating the cost distribution of the BEL based on, among other things, resident numbers and the Municipal Fund
• Participating in the quarterly recharge of the municipal contribution
• Diploma at least HBO bachelor level, focused on finance, business economics, accountancy, control, business administration or public administration with a financial focus
• In the past 6 years, at least 3 years of work experience gained as a financial advisor, business controller, corporate controller or in a similar role at a municipality and/or joint arrangement
• Experience with independently preparing, coordinating and/or assessing municipal Planning & Control products such as budget amendments and annual accounts
• Experience with the financial preparation of annual accounts, including assessment of budgets, cost centers and correction bookings
• Practical experience in the financial assessment of proposals and advising management and/or the board at a municipal or administrative organization
