Advisor Ecology & Grounds (interim)

Project overview

As an ecologist, you will provide practical guidance for maintenance and small projects at water production sites in North Brabant, ensuring compliance with nature legislation under the Environmental Act.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Performing ecological field visits and preparing QuickScans
• Preparing work protocols for ecological aspects
• Guiding execution activities in the field
• Conducting breeding bird surveys
• Fishing of flushing water ponds to protect fauna
• Maintaining logbooks and associated documentation
• Coordinating with colleagues on planning and progress of activities
• Recognition as an ecological expert in accordance with the RVO definition
• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in performing and managing ecological work
• Knowledge of nature legislation, such as the Environmental Act, and of codes of conduct (advantage)
• A valid B driving license and access to own transportation
• HBO work and thinking level
