Assignment Description
Background and Objectives
MeerMed is an initiative of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS) that supports healthcare providers, cooperatives, and suppliers in preparing for data availability for citizens. MeerMed offers an overview, knowledge, practical tools, and support that aligns with the development phase and challenges of each healthcare sector. Furthermore, MeerMed connects national developments with practice, so that policy and execution align better.
MeerMed helps organizations to take concrete no-regret steps today and to prepare for the obligations arising from the EHDS. MeerMed is part of the Data for Citizens team, which within the DI/CIO directorate focuses on improving the data availability of health data for citizens.
The goal of MeerMed is to unlock more health data from various healthcare sectors towards citizens through the MedMij agreement framework. For now, the data will be available in a PGO. A PGO is an app or website where citizens can retrieve health data from various healthcare providers for free and view and manage it in one place.
To accelerate this unlocking of health data via the MedMij agreement framework, MeerMed employs a targeted, sectoral approach. By offering customization in individual sectors, MeerMed meets the different needs of the healthcare sectors. The sectors MeerMed currently focuses on are: general practice care, medical-specialist care, long-term care, mental healthcare (ggz), and maternity care.
MeeMed collaborates with the cooperatives of these sectors, healthcare providers, and ICT partners on data availability for good, accessible, and affordable care.
DI-CIO is looking for an advisor for maternity care for the MeerMed program. As an advisor for maternity care within MeerMed, you will play a crucial role in the implementation and support of healthcare providers towards data availability for citizens, specifically for the maternity care sector. Your work will focus on supporting healthcare institutions and healthcare professionals to increase data availability for citizens, clients, and patients.

Additional Information
When you offer a professional to us as a supplier and they are placed, we will need information from you as a contracting party, including regarding the Chain and Principal Liability Act (Wet keten- en inlenersaansprakelijkheid). The 'WKA' aims to prevent abuse in the remittance of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to client.
We cover these risks for our clients through a blocked account, the G-account. This is an account to which a portion of the invoice amount is deposited and from which you can pay payroll taxes and VAT to the Tax Authorities. The percentage to be deposited depends on whether you have an SNA certification (NEN-4400-1 or NEN-4400-2) or not, and whether your company is located in the Netherlands or abroad.
You can apply for the G-account from the Tax Authorities. If you cannot obtain a G-account (and you can provide proof of this from the Tax Authorities), you also have the option to submit an accountant's statement (assurance report regarding personnel lending) every quarter. In this, a certified accountant (AA or RA) will issue a statement about the correctness, completeness, and timeliness of the remittances. Please note that the costs for this statement are at your own expense.
