Assignment Description

For a project, we are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer who can work independently and can explain to existing developers how best to develop. You have experience with the Angular framework. You solve problems with CSS and HTML rather than JavaScript. You know how to set up a project to be as manageable (maintainable) as possible. You have a strong awareness of accessibility and integrate it into your work.

Background Assignment

The I&R (Identification and Registration of animals) application is used for the registration of a large proportion of farm animals in the Netherlands. The application consists of various channels through which the life cycle of animals can be reported: an Angular internet application, an Oracle Forms backoffice application, and several Java web services. Two applications within the team are due for renewal. One is already in an advanced stage, and the other has yet to be set up. The work takes place within an experienced team that manages and develops multiple applications in an agile environment.

The team consists of DICTU and RVO employees who jointly carry out the entire development and management cycle.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable and recent development experience with Angular.

Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable work experience with the Agile/Scrum methodology.

Demonstrable experience in reviewing and testing the work of fellow developers in a team.

Demonstrable knowledge of WCAG 2.

Demonstrable experience in setting up a new project with an eye for maintainability.

Substantiated with concrete projects and role descriptions in CV or motivation.

Wishes

Demonstrable knowledge of REST.

Candidate has demonstrable experience with Secure Software Design.

Candidate can document their own work well and transfer knowledge.

Substantiated in CV or motivation.

Demonstrable knowledge of Java.

Demonstrably aware of new developments in the field of tools and Frontend technologies.

Additional Information

When you offer a professional to us as a supplier and they are placed, we will need information from you as a contracting party, including regarding the Chain Liability Act (Wet keten- en inlenersaansprakelijkheid). The purpose of the 'WKA' is to prevent abuse in the remittance of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to client. We cover these risks for our clients by means of a blocked account, the G-account. This is an account to which a portion of the invoice amount is deposited and from which you can pay payroll taxes and VAT to the Tax Authorities.

The percentage to be deposited depends on whether you have a SNA certification (NEN-4400-1 or NEN-4400-2) and whether your company is established in the Netherlands or abroad. You can apply for the G-account from the Tax Authorities. If you cannot obtain a G-account (and you can provide proof of this from the Tax Authorities), you also have the option to provide an assurance report regarding personnel lending every quarter. In this report, a certified accountant (AA or RA) will issue a statement on the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the remittances.
