Assignment description:

As an Agile coach at Justis, you will be responsible for the daily guidance of teams in their (further) development towards an effective, transparent, and cohesive way of working based on Agile values and principles. The focus is on several existing and yet-to-be-started teams. There is also a task for the organization to implement lean portfolio management. The agile coach uses appropriate coaching techniques and learning interventions for what a team needs at that moment. You will work with Justis teams and our IT supplier(s) on a solid agile structure at the operational and tactical level.

You will facilitate agile events such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews. You will help the employees in the teams develop their roles. You will ensure that knowledge is shared organization-wide and lay the foundation for a 'Justis Way of Working'.

Background

Justis has a significant task and ambition, and Justis is working towards an agile organization. The SAFe Framework provides guidance for this. The IT directorate is increasingly moving towards Agile working methods in the development of its products (with suppliers). Experience has already been gained with Scrum and the role of Product Owner. At the team level, there is a need to take the next step; strengthening collaboration between teams and focusing more on adding value for our business partners.

The IVD&C directorate is looking for an agile coach to grow the maturity of the teams, a coach who takes the environment into account and builds a sustainable change with us.

Competencies

• You are in possession of the following certificates: Agile and/or Scrum and/or Prince
• Minimum completed Bachelor's degree (HBO)
• Certified Scrum Master
• Minimum 3 years of demonstrable experience as an agile coach in an agile (IT) working environment
• Minimum 3 years of experience with tools and techniques for agile collaboration and project management, including Jira and/or Confluence.
• Demonstrable experience with organizational change
• Experience in coaching multiple Agile teams in different stages of maturity
• You master both the Dutch and English languages
• You are transparent and have strong communication skills.
• Continuous improvement is in your blood.
• You can hold your own in a dynamic environment.
• Furthermore, you strive for results without losing sight of the people.
• You recognize where Agile is not yet delivering optimal value, and you are able to address this together with the team and other stakeholders. You focus not only on the 'what' but also on the 'why'. You will look for the best-fitting solution, even if it lies outside of Agile.
