What profile is sought here: Reinforcement for the AI Design Authority: the AI regulatory framework and AI governance.

The Group adopted an AI regulatory framework in October 2024 that all subsidiaries, including Crédit Agricole Assurances, must implement within their scope. This regulatory framework came into effect in the summer of 2025.

In this context, within the DATA & AI Department, the AI Design Authority position is being created to ensure the compliance of AI systems and AI governance at the group level.

Profile sought

The profile sought is primarily an AI governance manager / AI compliance project manager, capable of deploying a governance framework across a large group. This is not primarily a developer or data scientist role.

The core of the profile

The person will need to translate the Group's regulatory framework into concrete processes: identify AI systems, assess their risks and compliance, organize controls, monitor action plans, and report to management.

They will also need to advance the subject throughout the organization: lead committees and the AI contact network, coordinate functions such as security, DPO, and risk management, and deploy training and communication.

Work environment

The environment is that of a transverse AI governance function, within the DATA & AI Department. The position operates at the group level, with various BUs/SUs and entities, in conjunction with teams such as security, DPO, risk management, DMO, and HR.

The work combines coordination and compliance: leading committees and the AI contact network, deploying training, maintaining procedures and the intranet, then monitoring the inventory of AI systems, their evaluations, and their compliance in production. It involves a lot of interaction with business, technical, and control stakeholders, as well as reporting to management.

• Formalized AI training program deployed across the Group;
• Complete and updated inventory of AI systems with compliance assessment;
• Continuous monitoring of AI systems compliance within the Group with dashboards and indicators;
• Periodic control exercises carried out with audit reports and action plans;
• Regular reporting produced and transmitted to the DATA & AI Department and the Digital and Customer Marketing Department.
• Design and deploy the AI training plan across the Group covering all employees, levels, and profiles on AI risks, responsible AI, and AI compliance in coordination with HR, DMO, IFCAM,;
• Maintain and evolve the AI Design Authority intranet and SharePoint site;
• Produce and lead educational communications and interventions on AI governance;
• Lead and coordinate the AI community through contacts in each BU/SU and international entities;
• Design and update the AI governance procedure note in FR/EN versions;
• Define and document the Agentic AI policy;
• Lead and facilitate governance committees;
• Select and deploy AI governance tools;
• Coordinate and support AI contacts in BUs/SUs, entities, and internationally;
• Interface and align with the DAIA;
• Produce and transmit reports to the Digital and Customer Marketing Department;
• Identify and evaluate all AI systems in conjunction with the AI Contact network;
• Design and evolve the AI system evaluation grid;
• Instruct and issue AI compliance opinions before production in coordination with regulatory stakeholders (ARC, SSI, DPO, DMO, etc.);
• Verify and ensure the continuous compliance of all AI systems in production with Group AI standards.
• Plan, organize, and manage the different phases of AI governance projects;
• Identify, analyze, and manage potential risks of AI initiatives;
• Communicate and simplify complex AI governance concepts to stakeholders, technical teams, and business units.
