AI Fullstack Engineer (m/f/d)

Project overview

For our long-term client we are looking for an AI Fullstack Engineer (m/f/d).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance AI-powered full-stack products
• Develop frontends with React/TypeScript and backend services with Python/FastAPI
• Integrate ML/LLM services and build RAG-based solutions
• Deliver secure, scalable, high-performing, and user-friendly applications
• Implement testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and release automation
• Contribute to software architecture and technical product design
• Collaborate closely with Product, UX, and Platform Engineering teams
• Create technical documentation and mentor junior engineers

• Proven experience building and operating customer-facing AI products at scale
• Advanced knowledge of Python, FastAPI, and Pydantic
• Strong expertise in React/TypeScript and modern frontend architecture
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector stores, and retrieval pipelines
• Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, API gateways, and asynchronous workloads
• Good knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Git
• Experience with end-to-end testing, e.g. Playwright or Cypress
• Knowledge of application security, AuthN/AuthZ, and RBAC
• Experience with monitoring and observability, ideally OpenTelemetry
• Strong product mindset, business orientation, communication, and collaboration skills
• Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL, Pandas, and database migration tools
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design and Clean Architecture
• Experience with OAuth2/JWT, data governance, and PII handling
• Knowledge of Helm/Kustomize and production Kubernetes environments
