AI MLOps Developer - Paris

Context

A major media group is looking for an AI/LLMOps development contractor to strengthen its transverse AI team dedicated to information offerings. The mission focuses on generative artificial intelligence, natural language processing (NLP), and speech-to-text development, in a demanding technical environment combining industrialization and innovation.

Work Environment

Start planned for early to mid-November 2026 (estimated letter date: 11/16/2026), for a duration of up to 4 years (3-month renewable). On-site presence required at least 50% of the time, i.e., 2 to 3 days per week, depending on service needs. On-call duty or exceptional interventions in the evening, on weekends, and on public holidays are to be expected. The mission takes place in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, near the Balard metro station or RER C.

Profile Sought

Axande is an IT consulting and engineering company specializing in supporting large accounts in their digital transformation projects. We primarily work on project management, change management, AMOA, and application expertise missions, with clients in the media, industry, and public sectors. Our consultants work as freelancers or subcontractors within multi-year contracts, with ongoing support throughout the mission.

• Contribute to the development and production deployment of AI/ML/DL models within the framework of projects related to information offerings
• Design and implement LLM architectures, set up RAG pipelines, integrate embedding models and vector databases
• Develop and expose business API routes: Speech-to-text, article and comment classification, SEO titling, contextualization
• Ensure the containerization and deployment of solutions via Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines under GitLab
• Implement MLOps practices: tracking experiments with MLflow, evaluation via LLM-as-judge and golden datasets, prompt drift management
• Participate in the design of AI agents and the deployment of small language models (SLM)
• Contribute to the monitoring and observability of systems via Prometheus and Grafana
• Collaborate with non-technical profiles (journalists, editors) by simplifying the developed solutions
• Participate in the team's agile rituals and contribute to the culture of continuous improvement

• Specify if you can work on the client's site as requested above
• Your experience in deploying LLM solutions and in MLOps (MLflow, evaluation, prompt drift) in a media or editorial context will be a determining factor.
• Minimum 3 years of significant experience in AI/ML/DL development with actual production deployments
• Proficiency in Python and/or Node.js applied to AI, as well as data manipulation with SQL
• Proven experience in designing LLM architectures, implementing RAG, and using vector databases
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines with GitLab
• MLOps experience: MLflow, LLM evaluation, drift management
• Ability to develop business API routes (STT, NLP, classification)
• Appreciated: experience with GCP, Azure, or sovereign cloud (OVH/Scaleway), AI agent design, performance testing, Prometheus/Grafana
• Interpersonal skills and ability to simplify concepts for non-technical profiles
