Role Overview
A highly skilled AI Platform Engineer with strong expertise across AI Security Engineering, LLM and Model Security, AI Red Teaming, AI Governance, and secure platform engineering. The role will support the delivery of secure AI capabilities, combining hands-on security expertise with governance, guardrails, secure CI/CD, and secure configuration management. Strong stakeholder engagement, client-facing communication, and the ability to operate effectively across cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams are essential.

Contract Details
- Provide specialist expertise across AI Security Engineering and LLM/Model Security.
- Support AI Red Teaming activities to identify and address security risks across AI platforms and models.
- Contribute to the implementation of AI Governance frameworks, security controls, and guardrails.
- Apply Security Data Science techniques to support secure AI platform engineering.
- Support the design and implementation of secure CI/CD pipelines and secure configuration management practices.
- Work closely with stakeholders and client teams, building strong professional relationships across technical and business functions.
- Operate effectively across cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams, supporting problem solving, conflict resolution, and continuous improvement.
- AI Security Engineering
- Strong expertise in securing AI platforms, services, and associated engineering environments.
- LLM/Model Security
- Deep understanding of security considerations relating to Large Language Models and AI models.
- AI Red Teaming
- Hands-on experience assessing AI systems for security weaknesses, vulnerabilities, and potential misuse.
- AI Governance & Guardrails
- Strong knowledge of AI governance principles, security controls, guardrails, and responsible platform operation.
- Secure AI Platform Engineering
- Experience across Security Data Science, secure CI/CD pipelines, and secure configuration management
- Rate: Up to £600 per day
- Location: Hybrid
- 3 Days per Week On Site Edinburgh/Glasgow
- Duration: 12 Month Contract
- Start Date: 1st November 2026
