AI Solution Architect

Project overview

We are looking for an AI Solution Architect to work with one of our clients based in Saint-Ouen, in the industrial (manufacturing) sector, at Alstom, as part of a project to design, deploy, and industrialize enterprise artificial intelligence solutions.

You will work within a Corporate AI / Enterprise AI organization, with the objective of defining robust, secure, and scalable AI architectures, supporting technical teams in the development of AI / GenAI solutions, and ensuring their integration into the company's information system.

Profile sought:

We are looking for an experienced AI Solution Architect with at least 10 years of experience in solution architecture, software engineering, or enterprise application development, including a minimum of 3 years in designing and delivering AI / GenAI solutions.

You have solid technical expertise in software architecture, Python development, and cloud-native solution design, as well as significant experience in industrializing artificial intelligence solutions.

You master technologies and concepts related to LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, AI agents, and MLOps practices.

You have good knowledge of Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, and Databricks environments, and are capable of designing robust, secure architectures adapted to the constraints of large enterprises.

You are capable of intervening across the entire AI solutions lifecycle, from business needs analysis and architecture definition to their deployment and industrialization.

You have a good understanding of security, governance, software quality, data protection, and responsible artificial intelligence challenges.

You know how to support technical teams, conduct architecture and code reviews, define standards, and transfer development best practices.

Experience in an industrial environment or within a large international organization would be particularly appreciated.

Autonomous, rigorous, pedagogical, and with excellent interpersonal skills, you can bridge the gap between technical and business teams, support teams unfamiliar with Agile practices, and contribute to their skill development.

• Design and define end-to-end technical architectures for artificial intelligence and generative AI solutions.
• Define and implement reference architectures and technical standards for AI / GenAI solutions.
• Design and industrialize solutions based on LLMs, RAG architectures, and AI agents.
• Define the integration architectures of AI solutions into existing application environments and information systems.
• Design and supervise the development of solutions based on Python, APIs, and microservices architectures.
• Support the deployment of AI solutions on cloud-native environments.
• Utilize Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, and Databricks platforms or equivalent technologies.
• Define and implement MLOps best practices to ensure the industrialization, supervision, and maintenance of AI solutions.
• Conduct architecture reviews and code reviews to ensure the quality and compliance of developments.
• Translate business needs into adapted, performant, and scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, data protection, and responsible AI requirements.
• Participate in the definition of enterprise architecture standards and software engineering best practices.
• Support and advise technical teams in their architecture and technology choices.
• Act as a technical referent and mentor for development teams.
• Facilitate the adoption of Agile practices and support teams in their skill development.
• Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration between technical and business teams.
• Solid expertise in solution architecture and enterprise application development.
• Proven experience in designing and deploying AI / GenAI solutions.
• Very good command of Python and modern software engineering practices.
• Mastery of API, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
• Good knowledge of Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, and Databricks platforms or equivalents.
• Expertise in the integration and operation of Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience in designing and industrializing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures.
• Good command of vector databases and their uses in AI solutions.
• Experience in designing and orchestrating AI agents.
• Mastery of MLOps principles and practices.
• Good knowledge of enterprise architectures and integration challenges within information systems.
• Skills in security, data governance, data protection, and responsible AI.
• Experience in conducting architecture and code reviews.
• Ability to define technical standards and reference architectures.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and ability to support teams in their adoption.
• Ability to transfer knowledge and support team skill development.
• Professional English is essential.
• Proficiency in French is an asset.
