Assignment Description

With this tender request, the RIVM, hereinafter referred to as the Client, aims to acquire specialist knowledge and labor capacity for support for its RED HAT API Gateway Platform. Within the RIVM landscape, the API Management Platform serves as a central connection point for all API traffic from, among others, chain partners, citizens, and RIVM employees.

The Client is looking for:

Background of the assignment

The activities include, among others, the following:

• A Red Hat 3scale Gateway product specialist (2 FTE)
• Implementing changes and support for incidents;
• Advising and supporting architectural and governance choices;
• Training internal employees through knowledge transfer.

Competencies

• HBO work and thinking level
• More than 3 years of experience with Linux, Red Hat, Open Shift, and 3Scale (including 3Scale toolbox)
• Red Hat X certifications (most recent)
• Red Hat training JB240
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience with Puppet and/or Ansible;
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience with Satellite 6;
• Knowledge of and experience with Cloud technologies: Orchestration (e.g., Cloudforms), Docker, OpenShift.
• Knowledge of and experience with Nagios, Zabbix;
• Knowledge of and experience with Linux clustering;
• Knowledge of and experience with VMware (VSphere)
• Knowledge of and experience with Linux scripting (BASH, Python)
• Ability to work in a structured manner and perform root cause analyses
• ITIL knowledge and experience, minimally foundation certified
• Team player

• Guiding and transferring knowledge to colleagues
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge and experience with the RIVM environment is a plus
