Application Integration DevOps Engineer

Project overview

As an Application Integration DevOps Engineer, you will work within the Agile DevOps team that links systems between applications and business processes.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Building, maintaining, and improving integrations between applications within a complex IT environment
• Deploying Azure Integration Services, including API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Event Grid
• Building and maintaining solutions with PowerShell and C#, both cloud and on-premises
• Building, implementing, and maintaining APIs that connect applications and processes
• Further developing and maintaining user provisioning and associated facilities
• Applying Infrastructure as Code, including with Bicep
• Setting up and optimizing CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps, YAML, and GitLab
• Managing, optimizing, and securing Microsoft SQL Server databases
• Applying DevOps, Agile, and Scrum principles
• Contributing to further automation, standardization, and professionalization
• Guiding and coaching colleagues towards cloud-oriented work
• HBO work and thinking level
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with application integration, automation, and/or DevOps
• Knowledge of Azure Integration Services, such as API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Event Grid
• Proficiency in PowerShell and C#, applicable in both cloud and on-premises environments
• Experience with reading, developing, and managing APIs
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, including Bicep
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and technologies such as Azure DevOps, YAML, and GitLab
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server for management, optimization, and security
• Familiarity with DevOps, Agile, and Scrum methodologies
• HBO diploma in ICT, Computer Science, or a comparable field
