Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for an Application Manager Monitoring for our client in Utrecht

Activities

As an Application Manager Monitoring, you will work with the team to ensure proper management of the monitoring platform and its integrations with surrounding platforms. The monitoring solution is primarily based on software from IBM (Omnibus, Impact, Network Manager, DB2, Cognos) and Dynatrace.

Context and Objective

• Provide work preparation and standard application management activities
• Install and configure software
• Upgrade and patch servers
• Support the Sr Product Specialist and functional administrators
• Identify, investigate, and resolve problems and bottlenecks
• Implement changes in the application landscape according to ASL and ITIL processes
• Implement new software releases (COTS and Open Source)
• Provide integrations and links between different platforms
• Perform capacity management by measuring and analyzing available capacity
• Advise on projects within the department and respond to technical developments of the tooling
• Create and maintain documentation (installation, configuration, user manuals, work instructions)
• Communicate with users and collaborate closely with other organizational units for optimal service delivery
• Work within the IT Continuity Center department
• The Management Environment (MO, building block C2IM) unit is the integral management environment of the network company within the client
• The unit is responsible for the implementation and integration of monitoring tooling for the supervision and operation of network elements from the Central Management Environment
• The IT landscape includes IBM Tivoli Suite (Omnibus, Impact, Cognos, WebGUI) and Dynatrace
