Atlassian Engineer – Migration to Jira and Confluence Cloud

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Atlassian Engineer for an assignment focused on migrating Jira and Confluence from a local installation (on-premises) to a cloud-based solution.

The assignment is part of a larger change initiative where you will have a central role in planning, leading, and executing the migration work. You will be responsible for the practical work before, during, and after the migration and will collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders and vendors to ensure a stable transition to Jira and Confluence Cloud.

• In collaboration with the overall change initiative, develop a plan for the migration work.
• Be responsible for ensuring that all preparations for the migration are carried out according to plan.
• Ensure a stable migration of Jira and Confluence from on-premises to Cloud.
• Establish and maintain collaboration with relevant stakeholders and vendors.
• Support communication and change management efforts related to the migration.
• Be responsible for the work before, during, and after the migration.
• Good knowledge of Atlassian products.
• Good experience with migrating Jira and Confluence.
• Overall technical knowledge relevant to the migration work.
• Relevant academic degree or equivalent education and experience in a relevant field.
• Good ability to communicate orally and in writing, both internally and externally.
• Ability to initiate, lead, and drive the work independently.
• Knowledge of and experience with relevant applications of the customer's governance framework.
