Important Location Requirement

This is a fully on-site position requiring attendance on-site 5 days per week (40 hours). Due to the nature of the role and the close collaboration required with engineering, production, and project teams, remote or hybrid working is not available.

*Open to candidates that are willing to relocate for the duration of the contract.

The Role

We are supporting a leading food manufacturing organisation in their search for an experienced Project Manager to lead automation and machine building projects across a large-scale production environment.

This is primarily a project management role (80%), requiring a strong leader who can manage stakeholders, coordinate cross-functional teams, handle vendors and external suppliers, resolve customer escalations, and drive project delivery from concept through commissioning.

Candidates must possess a strong technical background in industrial automation, specifically with Siemens PLC and Rockwell / Allen-Bradley PLC systems, alongside machine building experience.

• Lead automation and machine building projects
• Manage and coordinate external vendors, suppliers, OEMs, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and third-party deliverables.
• Support automation and controls strategies within a food manufacturing environment.
• Experience as a Project Manager delivering industrial automation or machine building projects.
• Experience managing vendors, suppliers, OEMs, and third-party contractors is essential.
• Technical knowledge of Siemens PLC platforms.
• Technical knowledge of Rockwell / Allen-Bradley PLC platforms.
• Machine building experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Food & Beverage industry experience.
• Fluent English is essential.
