Master’s or PhD in Mechatronics, Controls, Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
At least five years of work experience, preferably in an automotive context.
Extensive experience with a broad range of MathWorks products, including MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow and Embedded Coder.
Experience designing production-intended control strategies for code generation purposes.
Ability to perform structured root-cause analysis of complex software and system-level issues.
Experience performing functional and non-functional tests, mainly at software validation level, for automotive components, subsystems or systems.
Experience with data and measurement analysis, for example using CANape.
Good knowledge of ISO 26262, mainly Part 6, and ASPICE SWE.1 to SWE.6.
Basic understanding of AUTOSAR.
Experience working in Agile teams and familiarity with toolchains such as JIRA are an asset.
A methodical approach to development and problem-solving.
