Back-end Developer Node.js

Project overview

We are looking for a senior Node.js back-end developer to contribute to the development and evolution of applications related to live services. Within the product and technology teams, you will participate in the analysis of business needs, then design and develop new features. You will also ensure the corrective and evolutionary maintenance of existing applications and improve their quality, readability, and performance.

The technical environment includes Node.js 24, NestJS and Express, as well as the management of asynchronous processing with RabbitMQ and the optimization of cache and reverse proxy, particularly with Varnish and Redis. You will carry out tests, contribute to code reviews and best practices, document developments and share your knowledge with the team. You will take part in Agile ceremonies. The mission is planned for three months, renewable, with on-site presence as needed and at least equivalent to 50% of the service time.

Profile Sought

More than 5 years of significant experience in back-end development.

Mastery of Node.js 24, NestJS, Express, Git and collaborative practices.

Solid practice of application architecture, object-oriented design and SOLID principles.

Mastery of Varnish, caching strategies, unit and integration tests (Jest or Vitest) and TDD.

Knowledge of RabbitMQ, Redis or equivalent, hexagonal or clean architecture, microservices and Docker.

French is required. Kubernetes, high-audience media environments, Elasticsearch and CDNs are appreciated.
