Job description

The Backstage Team is responsible for the further development and management of Backstage, the central Developers Portal of the Tax Administration. You will build upon what already exists and develop it further together. You will set up plugins, templates, integrations, and standards that help development teams deliver software faster and better.

In addition, you will play an active role in increasing the use of Backstage within the organization. You will give demos and presentations, create documentation, and support development teams in adoption. You will work closely with other IT domains, such as CI/CD teams, security, operations, and development teams, so that Backstage aligns well with the total development chain.

The BackStage team works from Apeldoorn (Quintax) on Wednesdays and Thursdays and from home on other days.

For the development, management, and promotion of our Developers Portal built with BackStage, we are looking for a BackStage Team, consisting of 2 BackStage Engineers, Medior, Senior

The BackStage Team works at Generieke Ondersteunende Services (GOS), part of the IV-component Generieke Voorzieningen. GOS supports IV chains and IV service components with generic services that support the entire software cycle: from design and realization to testing, deployment, and management. We do this through reusable solutions, standardization, and extensive automation, as much as possible via self-service.

The Information Technology (IV) division of the Tax Administration is responsible for delivering all ICT facilities for the processes of the Tax Administration. The IV division Integration Business Services (IBS) Income Tax (IH) provides these facilities in line with the primary process of the Income Tax chain. We work on one of the most business-critical systems in the Netherlands, where many applications are produced and integrated into one working solution by IV IBS Income Tax. • You have a professional bachelor's (HBO) working and thinking level.

• You have knowledge and experience with CI/CD pipelines and development tools.
• You have knowledge and experience with Backstage.
• You have knowledge and experience with (Java) development on container platforms such as OpenShift.
• The above requirements apply to both BackStage Engineers (Medior & Senior).
• An excellent salary;
