Project overview

For our client Finansinspektionen (FI), we are looking for a BI developer.

FI is an authority that supervises companies in the financial market. FI's mission is to contribute to the financial system functioning effectively and stably. FI shall also work for good consumer protection in the financial sector.

Description of the assignment:

Finansinspektionen is facing a strategic initiative to implement a new analysis platform that will support the organization's increased need for data-driven decisions. The platform will enable modern data analysis, visualization, and reporting, as well as integrate with existing data sources and systems. Finansinspektionen also needs to manage the existing platform in SAS. We are therefore looking for an expert ETL developer who can manage the existing solution but also migrate to our new analysis platform.

Responsibilities

• Management of the existing solution in SAS
• Develop ETL jobs that effectively utilize the features of the ETL tool DI-studio and develop/manage programs for the SAS Viya platform
• Develop ETL jobs in the new analysis platform with Dbt core
• Perform tests during and after development work

Requirements

Meritorious:

The requirements must be clearly stated in the CV and marked. In addition, each requirement must be justified in free text with references to where in the CV the requirement is met. See attached file "Template Requirements and Response Document"

Start date: 2026-11-13 or earlier.

End date: The contract period runs for one (1) year, with the possibility of extension until 2028-07-31.

• Must have at least 10 years of experience working with SAS DI-Studio
• Must have at least three years of experience in development and administration of the SAS Viya platform
• Must be able to express themselves well in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Must have experience with and have worked with Visual Studio Code
• Must have experience in independently developing ETL flows from extraction to final loading
• Must have experience and have worked with XBRL instance files and content from European Supervisory Authorities
• Must have experience and have worked with developing reports/visualizations in SAS VA
• Must have an academic education in IT or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways.
• Must agree to be subject to a security assessment according to the Security Protection Act.
• Must have experience with DBT Core
• Must have certification SAS® Certified Base Programmer for SAS®9 or equivalent
• Must have SAS® Certified Data Integration Developer for SAS®9
• Should have experience working with integration platforms
• Should have experience from assignments in the last three years with IT in the financial sector

Project details

Primarily Stockholm at FI's premises with some possibility of remote work.

Working hours/Scope: 40 h/w (100%).

Possibility of extension: Possible extension until 2028-07-31.

Terms for the assignment will be based on Ework's framework agreement with the customer.
