Project overview

We are looking for a senior Business Analyst, functional project manager on Calypso Back-Office, for a long-term mission with our client in the banking/finance sector in the Paris region, in an investment banking environment.

You will join a team that is evolving a post-market platform at the heart of operations: settlement, delivery, SWIFT messages, securities events, accounting, and reconciliations. You will be involved in high-visibility projects with business stakeholders.

Profile sought

You have a Master's degree (Bac+4/5) and a solid experience as a Business Analyst in an investment banking environment, ideally more than 10 years. You have expertise in Calypso for Back-Office and settlement-delivery operations (bilateral, clearing, CCP, brokers). You know how to write specifications, manage acceptance testing, and scope a project (planning, risks, governance). You are comfortable with SQL. You are rigorous, attentive, possess strong coordination and teaching skills. You communicate easily with multicultural teams.

• Manage business projects: opening new markets, integrating new brokers, enriching interfaces and reporting.
• Gather and analyze user needs, then write specifications for development teams and the editor.
• Implement functional acceptance testing and non-regression testing, with manual or automated test scenarios.
• Provide advanced level 3 support to Operations teams (middle, back-office, accounting) and propose process improvements.
• Coordinate and support an offshore team in India: skills development, work validation, smooth communication.
• Contribute to cross-functional topics related to the platform's multi-asset class evolution.
• Lead change management with users and liaise with custodians, brokers, and clearing houses.
