Business Analyst

Project overview

We are looking for a Business Analyst for a 3-month renewable mission in Niort.

Context:

As part of several transformation and IT system evolution projects, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst Consultant working in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

The consultant's main mission will be to support business and IT teams in formalizing needs, analyzing functional impacts, and producing the deliverables necessary for project success.

Beyond analytical skills, we expect someone capable of bringing a fresh perspective to subjects, challenging expressed needs, and proposing pragmatic approaches adapted to the company's challenges.

The mission will aim to:

-Gather, understand, and formalize business needs.

Required Skills:

Strong analytical and synthesis skills.

+ Understand application architectures.

+ Effectively communicate with IT departments in France and abroad (English not mandatory).

+ Understand data flows and interfaces.

Desired Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.

• Identify issues, constraints, and functional impacts.
• Challenge requests to ensure their relevance and consistency with project objectives.
• Propose functional solutions adapted to the context.
• Facilitate exchanges between business units, project teams, technical teams, and the software vendor.
• Participate in design and validation workshops.
• Support functional acceptance testing phases.
• Formalize the product backlog in Jira.
• Needs statements
• Impact studies on processes and production tools
• Scoping documents
• General and detailed functional specifications
• User Stories
• Test cases
• Support for business validation phases
• Excellent writing skills.
• Mastery of requirements gathering techniques and workshop facilitation.
• Ability to constructively challenge business requests and the vendor.
• Interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization.

• Critical thinking and proactivity.
• While not a developer, the consultant must have a good IT culture enabling them to:
• Experience in transformation projects or programs.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly engage in new functional areas.
• Strong autonomy and sense of responsibility.
• Significant experience in writing functional specifications / user stories.
• Knowledge of Sinapps IRD and Salesforce is a plus.
• Knowledge of JIRA.
