Job Overview

We are looking for experienced Business Analysts to join a leading Investment Banking/Asset Management client in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will have strong domain expertise within financial services, excellent data analysis capabilities, and hands-on experience working closely with technology and business stakeholders in Agile environments.

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business processes and data requirements.
• Perform data analysis, data mapping, and data reconciliation activities across large datasets.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to support platform and system build-outs.
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and support Agile delivery processes.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement validation sessions.
• Coordinate with development and testing teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track delivery activities using JIRA and related Agile tools.
• Good experience within Investment Banking or Asset Management.
• Strong understanding of financial instruments and financial data.
• Advanced SQL and data analysis skills.
• Experience supporting platform, application, or system build-out initiatives.
• Strong experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and related delivery tools.
• Proven Business Analysis experience covering:
• Requirements gathering
• Stakeholder management
• Business process analysis
• Data analysis
• Experience with data mapping, reconciliation, and handling large datasets.
• Experience working with Instrument Reference Data or Security Master platforms.
• Strong experience within Investment Banking or Asset Management.
• Understanding of data models, data lineage, and data quality frameworks.
• Experience working with APIs, data feeds, and data ingestion processes.
• Experience working closely with engineering teams.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, BDD, and JIRA workflows.
