Business Analyst - Onboarding of Assets on Digital Platform and AI Agents

Project overview

We are looking for a Business Analyst for a long-term mission with our client in the banking/finance sector in the Paris region, as a permanent executive hire at Ingéniance.

You will own the onboarding process for flexible assets (batteries, industrial processes, heat pumps, charging stations) on a digital platform connected to the markets. You will manage this process end-to-end, both as a business process and as a product.

Particularity: you will work with a "software delivery foundry", a governed set of AI agents that write specifications and then deliver the solution. You describe the need in natural language, the agent questions you, you arbitrate, you review, and you follow up until production. Writing is not the hardest part: the challenge is knowing what the business truly needs.

Profile sought

You have confirmed experience as a Business Analyst (5 to 8 years) and a Master's degree (BAC+5). You are proficient in requirements gathering, process mapping, and functional specification, with a genuine sensitivity to digital experience. You have already worked, or are ready to work, with AI agents (initial experience is sufficient). Professional English, spoken and written, is essential. You have an analytical mind, can take a step back from a subject, challenge, and make decisions with both business and digital teams.

• Conduct interviews, workshops, and process reviews with business stakeholders to identify real needs.
• Map the onboarding journey, from the initial contact with the asset owner to its operational deployment, identifying blockages, manual tasks, and unreliable data.
• Challenge requests, distinguish between the problem and the proposed solution, and set shared priorities between business and digital teams.
• Present needs to the conversational agent and guide it towards the correct scope.
• Decide what the agent cannot resolve: priorities, scope, business rules, compromises, success criteria.
• Critically review the specifications produced and validate the scope of each release.
• Control deliveries against the business process, report discrepancies, decide with the team on production deployment, and report back to the business.
