We currently have 180 great colleagues on projects. To further strengthen our team, we are currently looking for a Business Architect (m/f/x) to work with our client in Brussels.

Function

For a large organization, we are looking for a Business Architect IT who will help shape the operations, processes, and strategic development of the IT organization. In this role, you will collaborate with various IT domains and stakeholders to optimize IT capabilities, operating models, and processes, aligning them with the long-term strategy.

• Develop business architecture solutions to support strategic IT projects and programs
• Translate IT strategy into concrete initiatives, roadmaps, and projects
• Develop and optimize IT capabilities, operating models, and end-to-end processes
• Support project managers in defining work packages, dependencies, and resource needs
• Advise on the integration and positioning of new technologies within the IT organization
• Define governance, ownership, and service models for new IT solutions
• Contribute to resilient IT services by focusing on continuity, recoverability, and resilience
• Develop lifecycle management processes across architecture, delivery, operations, governance, and risk management
• Evaluate tools and platforms and support replacement and transition projects
• Help shape disaster recovery strategies and continuity models for IT services
• Communicate architecture frameworks and guidelines to project teams and stakeholders
• Monitor the architectural vision during project realization
• Develop business cases, capability models, process models, and organizational models
• Proactively propose improvements and innovative ideas for IT domains
• Report on progress, milestones, documentation, and knowledge retention

• Experience as a Business Architect, Enterprise Architect, or in a similar architecture role
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Experience in developing business architectures, operating models, and capability models
• Knowledge of IT governance, service management, and organization-wide IT processes
• Understanding of architecture domains such as business, solution, and enterprise architecture
• Experience with roadmap development, project initiation, and strategic transformation trajectories
• Ability to translate complex issues into concrete solution proposals
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders
• Experience with process modeling and impact analyses
• Knowledge of DevOps, delivery, and operational processes within IT organizations
• Experience with risk, continuity, and lifecycle management within IT
• Independent, proactive, and results-oriented work attitude
• Ability to think strategically while developing pragmatic solutions
• Experience in guiding change processes and organization-wide initiatives
