Business Process Mapping Consultant (M/F)

Project overview

Reporting to the mapping team within the technical directorate, the business process consultant will contribute to the evolution of processes and tools used by mapping teams in the region. Their priority will be to support the development of a scheduling tool to organize tasks, meet deadlines, and monitor the quality of work.

From the functional specifications already established, they will oversee the developments carried out by the information systems directorate, organize business acceptance testing, and contribute to necessary arbitration.

They will act as the link between IT teams, national business stakeholders, and regional users, ensuring that operational needs are translated into suitable solutions.

The mission may also involve needs analysis, the evolution of mapping tools, and updating business documentation.

The consultant will lead design and acceptance workshops, ensure the traceability of work in the knowledge base, and provide user support.

They will also consider the impact of tool evolution on associated activities and markets.

Profile sought

Experience with mapping update processes and GIS or CAD tools; usage expertise is preferred over a developer profile.

Functional needs analysis and the ability to write requirements specifications and acceptance test plans.

Understanding of field mapping work; proficiency in Smallworld is not essential. Equivalent experience with tools like ESRI or QGIS is suitable.

Comfort in leading workshops and regional networks, acting as the link between business and IT, and supporting change in a complex environment.
