C Embedded Development Engineer – Industrial Systems

Project overview

Context:

You will join an R&D team specializing in the development of inertial navigation systems for technically demanding industrial applications. The goal: to design and evolve the embedded Firmware for high-precision inertial units, while ensuring the operational maintenance of already deployed solutions.

You will work at the heart of a real-time software environment, based on a critical OS, and actively participate in the evolution of exchange protocols, associated tools, and software architecture.

• Write and maintain technical specifications for embedded software components and associated tools.
• Design and develop new features within the Firmware in C language on QNX OS, in a real-time environment.
• Participate in the continuous improvement plan of the existing software platform.
• Ensure software maintenance of products in service and support internal clients.
• Verify and test developments: code review, unit tests, integration tests.
• Guarantee software quality: Configuration Management (GIT, SVN), Technical Issue Tracking (Jira) and V-cycle Traceability (CodeBeamer) and associated documentation
• Collaborate closely with validation teams on non-conformities and software roadmaps.
