CONTEXT

Our client, a major player in network infrastructure, arbitrates several thousand investment projects (renewal and development) each year.

Currently, these arbitrations are based on technical ratings (age, condition, asset technology). These ratings are difficult to compare from one policy to another, and their link to company objectives remains unclear.

Its R&D teams have undertaken in-depth work on prioritization based on value, risk, and contribution to objectives (Asset Investment Planning approach). This work includes BPMN process modeling, mathematical optimization, and the design of a serious game.

YOUR MISSION

You will consolidate and leverage this work, then define the change management levers so that management and leadership embrace it, in a logic of operational excellence.

This is a short, high-stakes mission, at the crossroads of strategy, engineering, and transformation.

YOUR ACTIVITIES

→ Diagnosis: consolidate the existing situation (document analysis, interviews) and compare it with business practices and expectations. Does the current process truly link investment decisions to objectives?

→ Value Model: articulate asset management objectives and arbitration criteria, adopt the principles of a constrained optimization method, and objectify the gain from evolving practices on one or more use cases.

→ Trajectory: propose a progressive change roadmap (demonstrator or targeted experimentation).

→ Communication: co-construct the communication plan with the team, then produce the associated materials.

→ Governance: lead the process (launch meeting, weekly check-ins, monthly follow-up committees, closing meeting).

• Languages: fluent French essential, English appreciated

Requirements

• Experienced consultant or expert, with significant experience in industrial organizations with high asset intensity (energy, transport, water, telecoms)
• Mastery of value and risk-based planning approaches (Asset Investment Planning, asset management)
• Experience in change management in a technical environment with a strong engineering culture
• Ability to link strategy, asset management objectives, and investment decisions
• Listening and debate facilitation skills, comfortable with technical experts as well as with a management committee
• Pedagogical sense: you know how to produce clear and convincing materials on complex subjects
