• Establish security operations processes, monitoring, threat detection and incident response capabilities.
• Drive operational adoption of Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Purview and Azure security services.
• Define responsibilities, escalation pathways and service coordination across internal teams and managed service providers.
• Support secure transition into production, developing playbooks, reporting and sustainable operating practices.
• Lead incident coordination and continuous improvement.
• Experience as a Security Operations Lead, SOC Manager, Cyber Defence Lead, Incident Response Lead or similar.
• A track record of building or maturing security operations capabilities in complex enterprise environments.
• Practical Azure experience and strong knowledge of Microsoft security technologies.
• Confidence leading incident response and working across technical teams, delivery partners and senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with VPDSF and Essential Eight frameworks is highly regarded.
