Communication Advisor

Project overview

The communication advisor will manage the communication surrounding the Value-Driven Innovation Budget Digital Government (WIDO) project.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Develop and execute an overarching communication plan for the Innovation Budget 2027
• Write and publish news items, background stories, and interviews for the website digitaleoverheid.nl, newsletter, and social media
• Coordinate video recordings for the announcement of the new innovation budget and the review video of the demo day
• Organize and coordinate communication around the demo day, the pitch event, and the theme sessions
• Set up a communication campaign to bring the new innovation budget to attention, aimed at increasing applications
• Manage and keep the website digitaleoverheid.nl and the social media channels up-to-date
• Conduct and elaborate interviews with participating innovation projects
• HBO/WO work and thinking level
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a communication advisor
• Excellent command of the Dutch language in word and writing
• Experience with writing and executing communication plans
• Proven experience as a communication advisor in (national) government
• Experience with developing and managing web and community pages
• Knowledge of web editing, SEO, and digital accessibility (WCAG)
