Our client, a major enterprise brand, is seeking a Community Manager, focusing on their Reddit Strategy to build and operationalize the organizations approach to Reddit. This will be onsite 3-4x per week in Downtown Toronto, $30-40 per hour T4. This role will not manage day-to-day community engagement. Instead, it will focus on developing the company-wide Reddit strategy, governance model, best practices, and operational frameworks needed to scale Reddit usage across multiple teams. You will serve as the central point of coordination, guidance, and oversight for everything related to the platform.
Responsibilities
" Develop and own the enterprise-wide Reddit strategy, including approach, guidelines, and strategic recommendations. " Build a Reddit playbook/blueprint to help internal marketing teams launch and manage their presence. " Define what Reddit engagement should look like across the organization and identify opportunities for scalable growth. " Act as an escalation point of contact for issues, risks, and questions from internal marketing teams. " Partner closely with AI, SEO, and social teams to establish best practices for engagement and response.
" Lead 'war room' style operational efforts during key events, issues, or high-volume moments (not posting content, but coordinating operations). " Track program performance, surface risks, and highlight opportunities to improve the framework.
Requirements
" 4+ years in social media, digital strategy, community operations, or program management. " Strong, active Reddit user with deep understanding of Reddit culture, etiquette, communities, and platform norms. In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
