Project overview

Team Mission:

As part of a transformation program for its investment activities, a major European banking group wishes to industrialize its operational processes and integrate a new insurance asset management activity into its central system.

After a scoping phase, the project is entering the implementation phase, with a first go-live expected at the end of 2026 and a scope extension in the first half of 2027.

The objective is to structure investment services, define target processes and operational models, and then secure the start of daily production.

The mission is structured around two complementary aspects.

Support Front Office Support and Data Management teams in adapting their processes to the new activity.

Responsibilities

From the first go-live, contribute directly to operational production across several asset classes: bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, Forex, and money market instruments.

• Updating processes, macro-processes, and operating procedures.

• Gathering business needs and implementing necessary reporting.
• Organizing operational services and preparing for go-live.
• Go-Live and Daily Management of Investment Operations
• Handling daily investment operations.
• Reconciling positions and transactions with the asset manager.
• Creating necessary securities for the new scope, in coordination with central teams.
• Securing operational continuity and the functioning of the implemented services.
• Formalize and update Front Office Support and Data Management processes.
• Participate in requirements gathering, testing, and monitoring of functional developments.
• Define operational reporting in collaboration with business lines.
• Prepare for go-live and the organization of daily production.
• Ensure reconciliation of positions and transactions with the asset manager.
• Contribute to the operational management of financial instruments and the creation of securities.
• Support project teams on Operations, IT, Organization, Risk, Compliance, and Finance aspects, ensuring consistency of work and operational intervention capability.
