Project overview

For a public client, we are looking for an experienced Backup & Recovery specialist with strong Commvault competencies. The client runs Commvault on-premise at two locations as well as Commvault Cloud (Metallic) with around 700 workloads and 600 TB of data. The environment is currently managed by a small internal team, and it needs to be documented and brought to a mature level before the summer of 2027.

The consultant will be part of the infrastructure team and will take over operations from day one, including monitoring backup jobs, error handling, restores, and support cases with Commvault. Simultaneously, you will document the setup, conduct a gap analysis, and rectify the findings prioritized by the client. It is an advantage if you can also handle tasks related to server operations.

• Minimum 5 years of experience with backup and restore in enterprise environments and in-depth knowledge of Commvault on-premise
• Experience with Commvault Metallic as well as backup of Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
• Experience with restore at file, application, and server level, restore tests, and backup of VMware environments
• Experience with backup policies, retention rules, and upgrading CommServe and MediaAgents
• Experience with ITIL and documentation, and preferably immutable backup and air gap
• Professional Danish in writing and speech
