Consulting Assignment | Business Analyst

Responsibilities

Conduct a current state inventory of existing reporting within SAP, Analytics, and relevant self-service solutions.

Document information needs and reporting requirements.

Initially, establish an overall understanding of existing KPIs, key figures, and business rules. For prioritized reporting areas, the work will then be deepened by defining, anchoring, and documenting the metrics and business rules required for future reporting.

Conduct gap analyses between existing and future reporting.

Collaborate with the business, the SAP program, the Analytics development team, and groups within Vattenfall Group working with development in SAP and on SAP data.

Deliverables

-Report catalog with identified report needs, target audiences, and priority.

-Business, information, and reporting requirements.

-Recommendation SAP vs. analysis platform per report.

-In later stages, define and document KPIs, key figures, business rules, and reporting requirements as a basis for development.

-Define the requirements for new reports.

Required Skills

At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Requirements Analyst, or equivalent within Business Intelligence.

Experience with ERP systems and reporting solutions.

Documented experience in requirements gathering for reporting, BI, and analysis.

Good communication skills in Swedish and English, spoken and written. Fluent Swedish is a mandatory requirement.

Meritorious

-Experience with SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA, preferably in Procurement, Finance, Asset Management, Maintenance, or Project Management.

-Experience with Power BI

-Experience in the Energy industry

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who, together with the business, will define future reporting and analysis needs related to the implementation of SAP S/4HANA.

The assignment includes identifying, analyzing, and documenting the business's needs for reports, dashboards, KPIs, and decision support within the following areas:

Procurement

Project Portfolio Management

Asset Management

Maintenance

Finance

The focus is on defining reports and analyses to be developed in the Analysis Platform, as well as recommending which reports are suitable for direct use in SAP. It also involves mapping, verifying, and, if necessary, supplementing target audiences and use cases for existing and future reporting. The work begins with an inventory of existing reporting and existing target audiences.
