Consulting Assignment | Senior Backend Developer, Oslo

Project overview

For a public client, we are looking for two senior backend developers to join the client's own development section. The assignment involves further developing and modernizing the core systems that case management relies on, in a landscape with many tightly integrated solutions.

The consultants will build business logic, APIs, and integrations that ensure information flows safely and stably between systems. Work is done in .NET and C# with REST services, message queues in RabbitMQ, and databases in MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL, and the solutions run on Docker and Kubernetes (AKS). It is also expected that they contribute to architecture discussions, testing, and work on code quality.

Professional sparring and knowledge sharing are a clear part of the role, so one should enjoy collaborating with both technical and functional colleagues. Initially, one must be in the office every day. Later, up to one home office day per week may become an option.

• At least 5 years of experience as a backend developer in agile, cross-functional teams
• At least 3 years of relevant education from university college or university
• Very good Norwegian skills, oral and written
• Experience with .NET, C#, Entity Framework, and REST-based services
• Experience with RabbitMQ, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Team player who shares knowledge, works thoroughly, and quickly learns a new domain
