Consulting Assignment | Senior Frontend Developer, Oslo

Project overview

For a public client, we are looking for a senior frontend developer for a cross-functional development team. The team builds and improves professional systems used in daily political and administrative work, and much of the assignment involves modernizing existing solutions.

One will develop new functionality, give older user interfaces a technical boost, and work closely with product owners, other developers, and the users themselves. The frontend is based on React and TypeScript with its own design system, so the consultant should enjoy component-based development and care about user-friendliness and universal design.

The client is looking for a team player who shares knowledge, works thoroughly, and quickly familiarizes themselves with a new subject area. Initially, one must be at the office every day. Later, up to one home office day per week may be possible.

• At least 3 years of experience as a frontend developer in agile, cross-functional teams
• At least 3 years of relevant education from college or university
• Very good Norwegian skills, spoken and written
• Experience with React, TypeScript, and component-based development
• Good at communicating and sharing knowledge within the product team
• Accurate, solution-oriented, and quick to learn a new domain
