Part-Time Contract Opportunity (10-20 Hours Per Week) $25.00/hour

We are seeking a contractor for a highly flexible, part-time position averaging 10-20 hours per week, and some weeks may require fewer hours. This opportunity is best suited for candidates who are specifically looking for supplemental income, project-based work, or a role that can fit alongside other detail oriented commitments. If you are seeking permanent hours or a consistent 20+ hour schedule, this position may not be the right fit.

This Contract position is ideal for someone who can turn source material into effective web pages, branded documents, presentations, and social content while maintaining a consistent voice and strong visual standards. The role blends writing, design, and hands-on website updates, making it well suited to a detail-focused individual who is comfortable working across WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, and social platforms.

Responsibilities

Build, revise, and publish digital content within WordPress, including website pages, articles, and reusable page components. Shape supplied information into clear, audience-appropriate content for landing pages, blog features, service descriptions, and project-focused materials. Prepare and format text, images, and multimedia for web use while supporting accessibility, metadata quality, internal navigation, and search-friendly page structure. Produce and refresh branded creative assets such as PDFs, diagrams, icons, page visuals, and marketing collateral using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva when needed.

Edit PowerPoint presentations and apply light design enhancements to keep materials visually aligned with established brand standards. Develop social media graphics and captions, then adapt longer website content into shorter, engaging posts for selected channels. Coordinate routine website maintenance and content revisions with careful attention to consistency, version tracking, and publishing accuracy. Review finished materials for grammar, formatting, technical correctness, and compliance with brand and content governance expectations.

Requirements

2-5+ years of experience in content creation, digital publishing, or a related creative role.

Demonstrated hands-on ability with WordPress, including Gutenberg blocks or comparable page-building tools.

Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Effective writing and editing skills with the ability to convert source input into clear, brand-consistent content.

Experience developing or updating website assets, visual collateral, and presentation materials.

Solid understanding of content formatting, image preparation, metadata, link management, and basic accessibility practices.

Portfolio showcasing relevant examples of web content, design work, and published digital materials.
