Waternet is looking for a Contract Manager Drinking Water Installations. PAYROLL POSSIBLE - ZZP NOT Work on the drinking water supply of tomorrow. The demand for reliable and sustainable drinking water is growing. Therefore, we are investing heavily in new and renovated drinking water installations in the coming years. As a senior project leader, you will play a key role in the realization of these projects. You ensure that the execution outside takes place safely, according to contract, and with the right quality.

With your experience, you know exactly what is needed to successfully realize complex technical projects.

What will you do?

As a Contract Manager, you will be part of the installations projects team and work closely with the Contract Manager. You will support contract management throughout the entire project lifecycle, from tender to execution and aftercare. You will coordinate with other IPM roles such as Project Manager, Technical Manager, and Project Control Manager. You will be the link between the contract content and daily project execution. You will ensure structure, insight, and safeguarding of contractual agreements and contribute to a professional and controlled project progress.

Where will you work?

You will be part of the Design and Realization team within the Drinking Water division. In this multidisciplinary team, project managers, technical managers, contract managers, project control managers, environmental managers, project leaders, and supervisors work together on the preparation and execution of infrastructure projects. The coming years will focus on the expansion, renovation, and sustainability of drinking water installations. You will work on projects with a significant social impact: securing the drinking water supply for millions of people.

• Support the Contract Manager in drafting, managing, and monitoring contracts
• Monitor contractual obligations (deadlines, performance, risks, and changes)
• Register and process changes (VTWs), claims, and deviations
• Maintain contract files and ensure a complete and up-to-date administration
• Identify risks and deviations and report them to the Contract Manager
• Prepare reports and contribute to progress and risk files
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (project team, project control) and external parties (contractors, consultants)
• Support audits and checks within the contract management process
• Contribute to improvements in contract management and working methods within the IPM team
• You are independent, meticulous, decisive, and possess good social and communication skills. Do you also recognize yourself in the following points:
• HBO work and thinking level (preferably in law, engineering, construction, business administration, or similar)
• Experience with contract management or contract management within projects (preferably in infra, water, construction, or technology)
• Knowledge of contract forms (such as UAV, UAV-GC) is a plus
• Affinity with project-based work and IPM structure
• Experience with administrative systems and document management
• A role within complex and socially relevant projects
• Working in a professional IPM team with a clear division of roles
• Room for development towards (senior) contract management
