As a Cost Engineer Building Services Engineering, you will provide cost advice for large technical projects at Schiphol and the regional airports.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Prepare cost estimates for building services engineering investment projects and assess their value
• Collaborate with various departments to arrive at supported cost advice
• Identify savings opportunities and prepare budgets for current and future projects
• Review tenders and requests from main contractors and oversee cost control
• Provide functional direction to one or more junior cost engineers
• Working and thinking level at HBO (higher professional education) level, preferably in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or extensive experience in contracting
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in cost management for new construction and renovation projects in the field of building services engineering
• Experience in preparing and reviewing cost estimates and budgets for technical installations
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations and contract forms, including UAV, UAV-GC, and RAW
• Experience in operating within a complex playing field of stakeholders
