Credit Risk Analyst | Contract | London (Hybrid)
We're supporting a leading financial services organisation in the search for an experienced Credit Risk Analyst to join their Financial Risk team on a contract basis.
Responsibilities
Experience required:
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-performing risk function, providing exposure to senior stakeholders and a diverse investment portfolio.
The role requires 1-2 days a week in London and is on an inside IR35 basis, via an Umbrella
- Review and challenge internal credit ratings across Fixed Income investments.
- Assess credit risk on new and existing bond transactions.
- Support risk committees with insights and recommendations.
- Enhance credit rating methodologies, models and risk processes.
- Monitor market developments and external rating agency activity.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
- 5+ years' experience in credit risk, credit analysis or investment risk.
- Strong understanding of Fixed Income markets and financial analysis.
- Experience assessing corporate credit and bond investments.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg and/or S&P Capital IQ.
- CFA or FRM qualification advantageous.
