Credit Risk Analyst | Contract | London (Hybrid)

We're supporting a leading financial services organisation in the search for an experienced Credit Risk Analyst to join their Financial Risk team on a contract basis.

Responsibilities

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-performing risk function, providing exposure to senior stakeholders and a diverse investment portfolio.

The role requires 1-2 days a week in London and is on an inside IR35 basis, via an Umbrella

• Review and challenge internal credit ratings across fixed income investments.
• Assess credit risk on new and existing bond transactions.
• Support risk committees with insights and recommendations.
• Enhance credit rating methodologies, models and risk processes.
• Monitor market developments and external rating agency activity.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
• 5+ years' experience in credit risk, credit analysis or investment risk.
• Strong understanding of fixed income markets and financial analysis.
• Experience assessing corporate credit and bond investments.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg and/or S&P Capital IQ.
• CFA or FRM qualification advantageous.
