Job Title: Wood Cutter

Working within an assembly/manufacturing environment, you will be operating saws to cut wood. This position involves manual handling and heavy lifting, so physical fitness is essential.

• Inspecting reject pieces of wood and operating a crosscutter machine to cut wood to be repurposed.
• Progress within the team and learn how to assembly products using various tools such as air nail guns, hammers etc.
• Progress and be trained on how to operate a forklift truck.
• Comfortable with physical, hands-on work and able to lift up to 25kg.
• Previous experience in machinery, assembly, production, woodworking, or general labouring is advantageous.
• Safety boots and hi-vis clothing are required.

Outskirts of Ashford (own transport required due to location)

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

Salary: 13.33, plus overtime available paid at higher rates!

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8am-5:45pm, finishing at 4:15pm on Friday
