Hays are looking for a strong Data Analyst to support the planning and forecasting of Mobile Backhaul (MBH) demand across the national mobile network.

• Up to £400 p/d Inside IR35
• Hybrid Working
• Location can be London or Reading
• 6 month+ contract

Ideal background: Data Analyst, Planning Analyst, Demand Analyst or Capacity Analyst, ideally within telecoms or another large-scale technical environment.

• Gather, cleanse and analyse large, complex datasets
• Maintain forecast vs actual demand data and update demand models
• Maintain and publish the National Mobile Backhaul Demand Plan
• Build analytical reports and provide insights to stakeholders
• Automate repetitive data and reporting processes
• Ensure data accuracy, version control and controlled reporting
• Advanced Excel
• Strong data analysis and modelling
• Experience working with large/complex datasets
• SQL and/or Python
• Power BI or Tableau
• Data/reporting automation experience
• Telecoms, mobile network or backhaul knowledge is desirable, not essential
