maximum €105,- Preferably: 32 hours per week Location: Groningen Additional location: Amersfoort Assignment Description Are you a driven data analyst with in-depth Power BI expertise? And do you want to use your knowledge to develop complex Power BI solutions and contribute to the professionalization of our team's Power BI methodology? Then we are looking for you! As a data analyst, you will work on existing and new BI use cases: from understanding the information need and analyzing and modeling data to developing, testing, and preparing Power BI solutions for production.

You will work closely with clients, users, data analysts, data engineers, and other specialists within Team Analysis. An important part of the assignment is the transition to a new data platform. You will contribute to the further development and migration of existing BI solutions and to a professional development and management methodology for Power BI products. This includes working with Power BI workspaces, version control, CI/CD, deployment, standards, and manageability. In addition, you have an explicit role in strengthening the Power BI craftsmanship within the BI cluster.

You will act as a subject matter expert for data analysts, support with complex Power BI issues, review solutions, and actively transfer knowledge, standards, and best practices. The intended result is therefore twofold: realizing high-quality and future-proof Power BI solutions and strengthening the BI cluster in the way these solutions are professionally developed, managed, and further developed. Background of the assignment RDI is working on strengthening its information position and wants to use data ever better for information-driven and risk-oriented supervision, steering, and decision-making.

Team Analysis supports this development with Business Intelligence, data analysis, and Artificial Intelligence. Within the BI cluster, dashboards, analyses, and other information products are developed for various parts of the organization. The BI environment is simultaneously in an important development phase. RDI is working on a new data platform and is moving towards a more standardized, reusable, and manageable way of developing.

Existing BI solutions are migrated and further developed where necessary, while new information products are increasingly realized according to the new development and management methodology. The Rijksinspectie Digitale Infrastructuur is part of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and comprises five directorates:

• People and Resources Requirements Minimum 5 years of demonstrable work experience with data analysis, business intelligence (BI), and/or developing data and reporting solutions. Minimum 3 years of work experience with Power BI, including independently developing and bringing Power BI solutions to production. Minimum completed HBO (higher professional education) degree. Wishes In-depth Power BI expertise: expertise in Power BI and experience with independently developing and optimizing Power BI dashboards, including knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and semantic models. User-friendliness, performance, and visualization are central. Professionalization of Power BI methodology: experience with professionalizing the Power BI development and management methodology, including workspaces, version control, CI/CD, and deployment. Data modeling: experience with designing and developing data models (conceptual and logical models). Knowledge transfer: experience with actively transferring Power BI expertise and strengthening the craftsmanship of BI professionals, for example through reviews, knowledge sharing, and developing best practices.
