We are continuing our development and are currently looking for a Data / Business Intelligence Engineer GCP – Python & Power BI (M/F) to work with a client in the banking sector.

💼 Your mission

You will join a Data team within the IT department of a player in the insurance sector, as part of projects to evolve the business intelligence system. You will be involved in analyzing business needs, designing Data solutions, development, and maintaining existing processes in operational condition.

Your role will be to propose reliable, high-performance solutions adapted to business challenges, ensuring the link between functional and technical teams.

• Analyze functional needs and study business requirements.
• Carry out impact studies, evaluate feasible solutions, and contribute to their costing.
• Identify source data and define functional and technical specifications.
• Design and evolve business intelligence architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP): modeling Data Warehouses and data exposure and sharing layers.
• Develop and evolve Data processes in Python, as well as associated jobs and services.
• Participate in the development and evolution of reporting solutions under Power BI.
• Prepare test strategies, write or validate test cases, and carry out technical-functional tests.
• Ensure technical acceptance and contribute to the validation of solutions with business teams.
• Write technical documentation and documents necessary for deployments.
• Monitor production processes, analyze incidents, and implement necessary fixes.
• Ensure adherence to good development, design, and architecture practices.
• You have at least 3 years of experience in the Data and Business Intelligence field.
• You have mastered GCP and Python, which are essential for this mission.
• You have a good understanding of business intelligence architectures, data modeling, and Data Warehouse issues.
• You have experience in developing business intelligence and reporting solutions, particularly with Power BI.
• You are capable of analyzing a business need, translating it into a technical solution, and ensuring its implementation up to production.
• You have good conceptualization and writing skills, as well as good interpersonal skills to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Apache Airflow and Composer for setting up and orchestrating Data pipelines.
• Knowledge of Jinja2 for factoring processes.
• Knowledge of SQL Server and Talend Data Integration for analyzing existing systems.
• Knowledge of the IARD insurance sector: automotive, home, legal protection, or life accident guarantees.
• GCP (Google Cloud Platform): mandatory mastery.
• Python: development mastery.
• Business Intelligence (BI): mastery of BI environments.
• Data Warehouse: design and modeling of data warehouses.
• Power BI: intermediate level.
• SQL Server: analysis of existing systems.
• Talend Data Integration: analysis of existing systems.
• Apache Airflow / Cloud Composer and Jinja2: appreciated assets.
