In this context, a data catalog is being deployed with several stakeholders. We are looking for a Data Catalog Product Owner to manage its implementation, evolution, and adoption within the organization.

Missions

• Data collection and management in compliance with regulations;
• Understanding and improving user experience;
• Providing steering and decision-support tools.
• Manage the data catalog: develop and maintain the catalog, organize the classification, annotation, and documentation of datasets.
• Ensure the quality, consistency, and completeness of metadata.
• Facilitate data access and understanding by different teams.
• Gather user needs and feedback.
• Build, prioritize, and manage the product backlog.
• Work in close collaboration with the Data Manager and stakeholders.
• Define features to be developed and monitor their implementation.
• Collaborate with Data Stewards to evolve the catalog.
• Contribute to the definition and implementation of data management policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with governance rules and regulatory requirements.
• Work with the Privacy Officer on GDPR and compliance topics.
• Design and organize training on catalog usage.
• Support users in learning to use the tool.
• Respond to support requests and propose appropriate solutions.
• Produce necessary materials and documentation.
• Work with Data Owners, Data Stewards, Data Manager, Data Scientists, Data Analysts, and other relevant business units.
• Gather expectations from different user profiles.
• Promote catalog adoption by teams.
• Define, with the Data Governance team, adoption monitoring indicators.
• Measure catalog usage and propose improvement actions.
