Project overview

Our client in the Aerospace and Defense sector is looking for a Data Engineer GCP / BigQuery.

Mission Description:

As part of a migration project to Google Cloud Platform, our client is looking for a Senior Data Engineer specialized in GCP and BigQuery to strengthen the team in charge of a BI project.

Within a three-person team organized in Agile Kanban mode, you will work on optimizing and structuring the data platform, with the following objectives:

Technical Environment

Essential Skills / Qualities:

Confirmed expertise in GCP and BigQuery, Good command of Git and CI/CD practices., English B1

• Optimize treatments and performance under BigQuery.
• Improve the organization of code and Git repositories.
• Contribute to the ongoing migration to GCP.
• Implement good development and CI/CD practices.
• Reduce technical debt and lay solid foundations for the rest of the project.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to fully understand the challenges related to operations

Nice to have

Ability to intervene on complex and large-scale projects.

Very good listening and communication skills.

Team spirit and ability to quickly integrate into a new organization.

A good understanding of the operational activities of an airline, particularly in passenger and Cargo aspects, would be a real asset.
