As a Data Engineer, you will contribute to modernizing an analytical platform, migrating existing Dataiku workflows to dbt and Snowflake. You will develop and maintain dbt models, structure data layers, and design robust ELT pipelines.
Project overview
As a Data Engineer, you will contribute to the modernization of an analytical platform, with the objective of accelerating the migration of existing Dataiku workflows to dbt and Snowflake. You will develop and maintain dbt models compliant with naming, testing, documentation, and continuous integration standards.
You will structure the different data layers — raw, staging, and marts — and design robust and scalable ELT pipelines. You will analyze Dataiku workflows to be converted, optimize Snowflake queries, and contribute to the management of computing resources, storage, and costs. You will implement quality tests, document models, and participate in tracking data traceability. You will also take part in code reviews, monitoring, and pipeline alerting, using AI-assisted development tools.
The position is based in Saint-Denis, in hybrid mode, with up to 10 days of remote work per month and a minimum presence of two days per week.
Profile
Proven experience in data engineering and advanced proficiency in dbt and Snowflake.
Good knowledge of data warehouse and data lake architectures, as well as the medallion approach.
Experience with ELT pipelines, orchestration, continuous integration, and data testing.
Ability to analyze and migrate Dataiku workflows to dbt.
Comfort with AI-assisted development tools, and rigor in terms of quality, traceability, security, and compliance.
