In general, the activities can be described as follows:

The Buitengewone Zaken Blauw (BZB) program works on complex, politically urgent assignments of a temporary nature, assigned by the management team of the Tax Administration. These assignments require interdepartmental coordination and fall outside the primary processes of the Tax Administration. BZB focuses on, among other things, remediation work and innovative methods, such as artificial intelligence and process automation.

The BZB program implements various programs such as, the wrongly rejected requests regarding Amicable Debt Restructuring Natural Persons (MSNP), the Temporary Block Connection Allowance (TTB) subsidy scheme, and the MijnHerstel route for DGH.

Job requirements

• Data management/data warehousing, ETL & data management
• Data integration activities, including merging data from different sources
• Setting up and developing data streams (from source access to dashboard & applications)
• Advising on the connection of data-driven processes and systems
• Advising on the improvement of existing processes & information flows and systems

The Information Provision (IV) concern component of the Tax Administration is set up to deliver all ICT facilities for the processes of the Tax Administration. The IV component Integration Business Services (IBS) Income Tax (IH) produces these facilities in line with the primary process of the Income Tax chain. We work on one of the most business-critical systems in the Netherlands, where many applications are produced and integrated into one working solution by IV IBS Income Tax. Quality is paramount in realizing the products and services for citizens, companies, and tax officials.

To be able to respond quickly and agilely to the wishes of our stakeholders in the future, we continuously invest in the renewal of our products and organize our working methods in such a way that we deliver the desired results in collaboration with many parties. We are preparing and executing large-scale adjustments in the application landscape of Income Tax. We do this on a multi-year basis and in a controlled manner, so that the Tax Administration processes we support can continue to run unimpeded, while also being renewed. This demands a lot from us as an IV organization.

All desired changes in legislation and regulations, as well as business innovation and modernization of the application landscape, must be implemented in a timely manner by the right parties. and culture The Tax Administration contributes to a financially healthy Netherlands. We do this by levying and collecting taxes fairly and carefully. The IV organization of the Tax Administration is responsible for and provides the ICT facilities. This is partly done by using the expertise available internally, but also by attracting (ready-made) solutions and expertise from the market.

• Completed WO Master's degree is a requirement.
• Experience with setting up and developing data streams (from source access to dashboard & applications)
• Experience in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, C# or Java
• Experience in advising on the connection of data-driven processes and systems and knowledge and experience with data integration.
• Knowledge of data management/data warehousing, ETL and data management
• Experience in SQL
• Experience with comparable complex program and data environments is required
• (Political) administrative sensitivity is a must
